Ocelot Gymkhana: The Final
An evening of short plays by the Brothers Kaufman
Ocelot Gymkhana the show they couldnt kill
is back! Eight of the very best, award-winning short plays and sketches
by writing team The Brothers Kaufman (and real life brothers).
Weird, mildly amusing, generally funny (Time
Out), did I mention weird? - the Brothers Kaufman have been cracking one
out in the name of SHORT PLAYS for literally yonks.
Come see, come see and FEEL the hurt. TREMBLE as the
despotic managing directors furry paws control everything...everything.
SEE a crazy man go on about sweets and old prime-ministers as if it mattered.
EXPERIENCE a disgruntled middle-manager take his unbridled revenge and swallow
nut brittle into the bargain. WITNESS an ocelot leap through a burning effigy
of David Cameron*. DESIRE the chavvy elves in their cute Burberry elvish caps.
WONDER aloud oh where, where is that onion?
*not included in the show due to health and safety
concerns.
First there was Ocelot Gymkhana:
I wasnt prepared for the height, the terror,
the aspect of what was nothing but my own terror staring me in the face.
(Wandsworth Gazette)
Then there was Ocelot Gymkhana Heat 2:
Brassnecked virtuosity. (Richmond and
Twickenham Times) Hilarious (Daily Mail)
Now theres Ocelot Gymkhana The Final, including:
THE INTERPRETER: Translating can be hell
WINNERS: Frank and Jenny have won £3.1 million in the
Lottery, but some people are never satisfied
THE CHAVS AND THE SHOEMAKER: The Brothers Grimm was never
like this
SWEETS: Coconut mushrooms, Caramac, Fruit Salad,
Rowntrees Fruit Gums, Texan. Takes you back doesnt it?
THE CRUNCH: Breaking the bad news to the staff of a loved
high street retailer as it closes its last store
DARKLANDS: Some estate agents will do anything to sell a
crappy house...
THE MANAGING DIRECTOR: His furry paws control
everything...everything
THE POO: Going to the toilet in other peoples houses
is always embarrassing
Featured cast: Tom Franck, Chris Garwood,
Rebecca Livermore, Chris Lucas, Martyn Plews, Ciara Preston Myakicheff and
Vivienne Soan.
Directed by Jonathan Kaufman Original
music by Julian Kaufman
